How to Promote Windows 7

This is how you promote Windows 7. Microsoft should learn from the Koreans! Heck, Dell should learn from them. I think we’d have a lot less trouble selling PCs if Dell employed them.

Boss Coffee

Boss has some weird ads. This is one of them, but it does star Nozomi Sasaki, one of the more popular fashion models in those Japanese fashion magazines. It has this weird tune that sticks in your head.

Asian Poses 2: Animated

Another post about Asian poses. This time, I’ve collected a bunch of animated GIF files that show some models do quirky cute poses in motion! I’m sure some of you have already seen these. I’ve managed to collect quite a few and thought I’d share their random poses with you. I also have a surprise because I forced my girlfriend (Miriam) to do one too. If I get her permission I will post it, but I shall have to consult her first orz.

Asian Poses

Asian poses are one of those cute things only Asians would understand. Those quick quirky cute poses makes a photo very different and very asian. Most people will recognise the peace “V” sign but did you know there are many other poses. In Australia, it’s pretty rare to see Asians posing like this, but in Korea more specifically, this is normal.

Nike Shoes

I’ve always been a bit of a sneaker head and I have collected some Nike, Converse and Adidas kicks over the pass years. However my collection is not that great since it can be a rather expensive hobby and with all my other hobbies I have in line, it’s just not economical. But this particular release is classic. Clean and simple but the design is just classic.

Miss Universe 2009

Miss Universe Japan 2009 was won by Emiri Miyasaka.  This years winner is definitely better than last year.  However, I am still disappointed.  Don’t get me wrong, she is quite quite beautiful, however, the general group of contestants were not that impressive.  There are a lot of models in Japanese fashion magazines that look really elegant and pretty, but they never seem to make it to these events.  Maybe they make enough money from modelling?

BSA Bounce Poster Design

After a frustrating weekend, and overall lack of time, I was able to get this poster done.  Sometimes it’s hard to do design work when you work a fair bit that week and generally have no time at home by yourself.

Best Umbrella

Probably one of the best umbrellas ever made in history.  This is on par with the clear Japanese umbrellas that are so common.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2008

Once again, Victoria’s Secret have had their traffic stopping fashion show.  Recession or not, this lingerie giant stops all forms of traffic while the show was live.  Statistics show that while the show was live and broadcasted on big screens around the globe, it literally caused traffic jams due to the number of motorists slowing down and stopping to look at it’s sexy and elegant models.  With big names like Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkova, Miranda Kerr, Marisa Miller and Selita Banks, who wouldn’t stop to look them walk their show.

Jacaranda Season

As of now, the official week for study is now over and exams have started on Saturday.  For me, they start on the coming Wednesday because that’s the date of my first exam.  Not many days left, I must cram as much as I can.  Are you a crammer?  No matter how much I try to prepare in a progressive manner, I am definitely not the progressive type but a true crammer.

Week In Sydney

Just finished another busy week of assignments and catching up on lectures.  I quite dislike playing catchup but what can you do.  For my mid-semester break I headed down to Sydney to visit a friend.  I haven’t visited Sydney for a long time and it has been through some substantial changes since then.  It’s ALOT busier.  It literally reminds me of when I visit Hong Kong, but just with less people on the street and less Asian people.

Gold Coast Retreat

Haven’t had a holiday in a while and have been a bit tired from juggling work and study.  Exams are finally over and since I am studying full time next semester and working much less, I figured it would be time to have a bit of a break.  Been relaxing at home and surfing the net, doing some housekeeping, and washing the car.

My New Clock

My clock arrived finally arrived!  Been wanting one of these clocks for a while now.  I have a screensaver that emulates this type of clock and ever since my friends saw it, everyone’s been using it.  This clock was sourced from Hong Kong as the ones in Australia are either too expensive or too hard to find.

Japanese Idols x Sneaker Freak Tshirts

I found these Tshirts a while ago while surfing looking through Hong Kong fashion publications Milk, and Monday. They tend to give the style of clothing I am after. Ever since I saw these shirts I’ve always wanted one but could not find real ones on ebay. Seems like ebay habours a lot of fake branded clothing and I was very skeptical in buying it as I’ve had bad experiences with buying fake stuff from ebay.
