High in Sydney

Above World Square, Sydney

As mentioned before, am now working at the Sydney Office for a month or so. This is the view from my apartment during the daytime.

As much as I think fulfilling a short term work trip for a few weeks is, it sucks living out of a suitcase. It does make it easier when you have friends down here in Sydney, but you do feel home sick, especially since I’m away with Ah Mi, and from my little luxuries at home.

Lately, I’ve felt lost. Especially down here during the working week, after work, all that is left is to go home and lie around and sleep. Try to keep myself busy by hanging out with the Sydney crew, but you can only do so much before you run out of cash. Everything here is a bit more expensive!

Mixed feelings so far. Good food and many things are convenient here, but there are also many inconveniences. Walking home from work requires the mammoth task of weaving through eleventy billion people and tourists. Something you really don’t want to do when you just want to get home.

Maybe I’m not busy enough… oh well…

Enjoy it and you’ll be home soon anyways right?

What a great opportunity! You can wonder around and go on little adventures to take pics. I’m sure you can find things to do to make your time there go faster. Head up soldier!
